Kiawah Presents Our World - 2017 Lecture Series
Our World is a complimentary educational lecture series that provides KICA members with presentations by local experts on a wide variety of subjects . A light selection of wine and cheese will be provided and members are encouraged to interact with speakers following their discussions . RSVPs are required to attend sessions , and are due the day prior to each presentation . Sessions in 2017 include :

Educational Opportunities
Each spring and fall the Sandcastle offers educational classes on a variety of topics . Along with ongoing favorites like Opera Lite , mahjong and bridge lessons , oil painting , and sweetgrass basket weaving classes , there are a few new programs to try . Community Groups and Clubs
Looking for a way to socialize with friends and neighbors , learn a new skill , help out the surrounding community or simply have fun ? Food Truck Rodeo - April 8 , 2017
Kick off the spring on the Freshfields Village Green with the Sea Island Food Truck Rodeo . Food trucks from across the Lowcountry will gather on the green , offering up eclectic cuisine . The event will also feature a silent auction . The rodeo benefits the Kiawah Women ’ s Group , which provides the Back Pack Buddy healthy student snacks program .
