1. OSAKA

Osaka is the second biggest city in Japan. People in Osaka speak different Japanese from Tokyo. People call it “Kansai-Ben”. The food is absolutely delicious. “Takoyaki” is the most popular food. It is a dish of octopus coated with soft flour. We eat it with sauce and mayonnaise. I am sure you have eaten Sushi, but Takoyaki is also very nice!! So try it!! Moreover, you can enjoy Japanese comedy shows in some theatres in Osaka. They are very different from those in other countries. Check it out!

2. KYOTO

This is the most traditional city in Japan. You can see a lot of shrines and temples. And they have Japanese hotels. They have old Japanese rooms and serve traditional food. However, the biggest reason why I recommend this town is that you can enjoy every season there!! In spring, beautiful flowers decorate gardens around shrines and temples. In summer, green leaves make the town cool. In autumn, leaves turn into red from green. They are so amazing. In winter, snow paints the town white. Therefore, you can enjoy Kyoto at least four times!!

Little-Known Treasures of Japan

By Yuta Miyauchi

Japan is a very small island country in Asia and very far from Manchester. But, all year round, foreign tourists come to Japan. That’s why there are a lot of good places in Japan. Although Tokyo is the most famous city in Japan, in my opinion, you should go to other places apart from the capital city, which is too crowded and noisy. So I’m writing about three places in Japan NOT Tokyo!
