Let's Eat! Restaurant Reviews by Nieves Hernandez

Looking for a fresh, diverse and satisfying meal? We have found two great mini restaurants with reasonable menu choices. Remember - food is also culture.

All Star Lanes is a prestigious place in Manchester found on Deansgate. Drinks, food and bowling are all offered in the same place. It is an enjoyable and modern restaurant with 8 bowling lanes and a cocktail bar perfect for sharing a nice and relaxing moment with your friends. The “Beer and Bowling Student Society” is a great deal. You can go bowling and have 2x1 margaritas or bottles of beer for less. Don’t forget your student ID to get this discount.

In This & That, the quality of the typical Indian food is to die for! Although, it is located in the city centre, this place is literally hidden in the Northern Quarter; but don’t hesitate about the location because the dishes are fresh and have plenty of flavour. The menu ranges are around £5 and £7. One of the most popular choices on the menu is the Rusholme's curry mile. Also the staff are really friendly.

3 Soap Street, Manchester M4 1EW, (Manchester City Centre)

Seoul Kimchi, is another small but excellent restaurant. This place is more expensive than the previous one but equally serves a lot of fresh, mouthwatering and inexpensive Korean food. On the menu you will find sushi, dumplings, noodles, gyozas and more. Seoul Kimchi is near to the Manchester Children´s Hospital, which is not too far from the City Centre.
