Nightclubs in Manchester

Manchester is quite famous for its clubbing scene so we’ve decided to and visit as many clubs as possible. It’s a hard job, but someone’s got to do it! We’re going to report which ones are good and which ones are rubbish.

Today, we’re going to introduce “Soundcontrol” which is one of our favorite clubs in Manchester so far. It is located on Chapel St., which is near to the Student Castle, so it is very accessible for you. It has three floors and each floor has bars with nice bartenders. The Atmosphere in the whole club is brilliant because each floor has their own mood. Music there is especially electronic, but actually it depends on the events.

You can find more than one genre there: drum’n’bass on the second floor, oldschool hiphop on the ground floor and house or techno (or some aliens ) in the basement where there is great underground atmosphere.

There are BASS FACE and BASS INVADER, which are student parties, every Wednesdays and Fridays. Don’t worry it’s friendly for your wallet. The price for entrance is around £5, and some drinks are less than £2 so it’s no problem even if you drink like a fish. There are also gigs with rock/hardcore bands or alternative artists. For example, on 30th November there will be Dub Pistols’s performance which we strongly recommend.

Hope you will like it and see you at the next club night!

J※Sometimes security men are narked so you should be careful not to look drunk when you enter the club, otherwise you won’t able to enter there.
