DOGTOBERFEST SATURDAY, OCT. 26 | 1-5 P.M. | FRESHFIELDS VILLAGE Dogtoberfest is the ultimate fall festival, uniting pets, Halloween, Oktoberfest, and community at the center of Freshfields Village with a dog costume contest, adorable adoptable pets, vendors and more. The 13th annual Dogtoberfest is on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 1-5 p.m. and admission is free. Bring your favorite canine, enjoy delicious food from food trucks, grab a drink, and mingle with friends. All proceeds benefit local pet rescue organizations. Dogtoberfest is hosted by Kiawah Cares. JAVA WITH JIMMY THURSDAY, OCT. 17 9 A.M. Stop by Beachwalker Center and have a cup of Java With Jimmy. These quarterly meetings allow members to have a cup of coffee and casual conversation with the COO about community life and operations.
