Kiawah Giving Month is coming up this May, but Sea Island residents struggle with the burdens of poverty every day. The Kiawah
Cares Foundation (KCF) aims to eliminate these burdens, including limited access to educational opportunities, substandard
living conditions, by supporting compassionate programs for children, seniors, and families on Johns and Wadmalaw islands.
KCF financially supports programs such as Communities In Schools, Begin With Books and Reading Partners, along with
educational programs in five Title I schools on Johns and Wadmalaw islands (visit kiawahcares.org for a full list of partners).
