Travel Prese ntation Series
Antarctica Adventure
Feb. 5 at 2 p.m.
Antarctica is the planet's last untouched continent, and you can
now experience it from one of the most advanced expedition
cruise ships ever built. Hurtigruten Cruises will take you through
the Drake Passage, escorted by albatross and storm petrel seabirds
before sighting the magical white landscape. You will experience the
continent's summertime with its incredible wildlife, including seals,

Our World Lecure Series
Thursdays at 3 p.m.
Our World is a complimentary educational lecture series produced by
KICA that provides association members with presentations by local
experts on a wide variety of subjects. A selection of wine and cheese
is served. Reservations are due by the Monday prior to the event.
Feb. 13 - Citadel Professor Sean Heuston will address important
aspects of Civil War history (including ways the war has been
remembered, explained and commemorated) by focusing on
several points of Robert E. Lee's years in the Civil War.

Dementia Dialogues Series
Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
Dementia Dialogues is a five-part learning experience designed to educate
individuals who care for persons that exhibit signs and symptoms associated
with Alzheimer's Disease or related dementia. Dynamic instructor Tauna
Longest brings great depth of knowledge and a bit of wit in addressing a

Commonwealth Financial Group presents a four-part financial strategies
series that will outline many of the challenges facing the high net worth
community today and in the future. The series also explains how people

The ABCs of Juicing and Blending
Feb. 19 at 2 p.m.
Need more energy? Want to drop a few pounds, but not feel hungry and
deprived? The ABCs of Juicing and Blending class will explore how this
can benefit our bodies and prevent illness by boosting our immune system
while producing amazing weight loss as a secondary benefit. Different types
of juicers will be demonstrated, and everyone will have samples to taste and
receive simple recipes to take home. Try beets, kale, carrots and more, all
blended into juices and smoothies! RSVP to the Sandcastle by Feb. 16.
Gluten-Free and Loving It
Feb. 26 at 2 p.m.
Have you ever wondered if you might benefit from the gluten-free
lifestyle, or perhaps you would like to know just what does "glutenfree" really mean? The Gluten-Free and Loving It class will share what it
means and explore the many health benefits. Enjoy a sampling of tasty
treats and learn simple techniques to transform a flour-loving chef into a
gluten-free goddess! RSVP to the Sandcastle by Feb. 23.

Come over after dining to rattle your brain! Bring a team or sign up for
one when you get here for some intellectual fun. Bring your favorite
drink (drinks are not provided) and listen to live piano music while
testing your brain power. Cost is $10 per member.
