A Fond Farewell to Departing Directors
In addition to updates and presentations on KICA and its goals, the
Annual Meeting also featured the election of two new directors to the
board. Art Jones and Marilyn Olson were elected, via acclamation, to
fill the two board seats vacated by John Connolly and Dan Hubbard,
whose 3-year board terms ended at the meeting.
At the meeting, the board took the time to recognize the two outgoing
directors, John Connolly and Dan Hubbard, and thank them for
their hard work and dedication during their time on the board.
Connolly served as the board chair for the past year and was
instrumental in overseeing several major initiatives for KICA and the
board. His calm leadership style and positive outlook were vital to the
board’s success during his tenure.
