KAIA MEMBER SOCIAL BRINGS ENERGY TO DODGE CITY written by the KAIA Team

On Wednesday, August 20, the KAIA Board took its 2025 outreach efforts westward, hosting a Member Social at the historic Boot Hill Distillery in Dodge City. Nearly 40 attendees – including a mix of member agents and Industry Partners – gathered for an evening of networking, learning, and camaraderie.
The atmosphere was casual yet energetic, with conversation flowing easily among colleagues old and new. The evening’ s highlight was Kansas P & C Industry Trivia, an interactive session that kept the room buzzing with friendly competition. The trivia combined education with entertainment, offering participants the chance to test their industry knowledge while earning CE credit. Winners walked away with prizes ranging from KAIA swag to gift cards, adding to the excitement.
Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many noting how valuable and enjoyable it was to have the KAIA Board and staff make the trip to Western Kansas. While not the first event in the region, it had been several years since KAIA last hosted one, and the success of this social underscored the importance of continuing these efforts.

Looking ahead, the Board is eager to build on this momentum by offering more opportunities for members across the state to engage, connect, and strengthen the independent agent community. •
