Who has been your most significant resource ( s ) and why ? Industry friends . People that are navigating the space in the same way . We compare notes , advice , and guidance .

What advice would you give to an incoming young agent ? Meet people . People and connections are the currency of insurance , and they deliver you wisdom and guidance . This is one of the most professional and generous industries in the world , but you have to show up and ask for help .
What advice would you like to share with principals who have been in the business more than ten years ? Continue to reinvest in the intangibles in your agency . As a former business owner , I know it ’ s easy to get hyperfocused on data and numbers . Sometimes you need to ask your team questions , their morale , workflow , and processes that don ' t have quantifiable results . When you kick the tires on these items , you ' ll find money lying on the ground .
What are your future plans ? I plan to continue to use IPFS to support the independent agency model . IPFS was built on the core of this group , and we want to help its longevity
