Continuing Education . The Senate Financial Institutions and Insurance Committee considered a bill impacting insurance continuing education requirements . SB76 would no longer require some continuing education courses . The bill would also exempt insurance agents and public adjusters from continuing education courses if certain criteria related experience are met .
KAIA opposed this measure because the bill would negatively impact the system maintaining an effective and robust educational environment within the everchanging insurance industry . The bill remains alive for the 2024 legislative session .
