For those that are still in the early stages of their career, it can be hard to decide how to spend your time and grow your career. So, why should young professionals spend their time developing their career outside of their own agency? We asked some of the young professionals of KAIA who have done it to explain how and why it has impacted them.
HOW HAS BEING INVOLVED IN YOUNG AGENTS OF KANSAS HELPED YOU DEVELOP AS AN INSURANCE PROFESSIONAL?
Haley Marsicek, Cardinal Insurance Services: " Being involved in Young Agents of Kansas has been incredibly valuable for my growth as an insurance professional. It has given me access to mentors, networking opportunities, and leadership experience that I might not have had otherwise.
It has also afforded me the opportunity to attend national conferences and visit with legislators to see firsthand how insurance laws and regulations are shaped. Collaborating with peers from across the state has helped me stay current on industry trends and build the confidence to better serve my clients and community."
