FAIR PLAN ANNOUNCES WEBER AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Kansas FAIR Plan has announced the promotion of Abby Weber to Executive Director.
Weber has been with the FAIR Plan for 12 years and has a background in HR, underwriting, and finance.
The outgoing executive, Laurie Hermesch, is retiring at the end of February.

IN MEMORIAM: FORMER BCBS KS CEO MILLER
Thomas( Tom) Leon Miller, 91, of Topeka passed away peacefully on February 3.
After coaching and teaching in Stafford and Ness City, Miller began a long and successful career in the insurance industry. He began as a policy examiner for the Kansas Insurance Department and spent more than 30 years at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas where he retired as President and CEO in 1997.
KS COMMISH VOICES SUPPORT FOR INSURANCE SAVINGS ACCOUNTS
Kansas Insurance Commissioner Vicki Schmidt recently testified in favor of a bill that would create an Insurance Savings Account( ISA). The Kansas Department of Insurance introduced the bill to give Kansans a state tax free way to save for property and casualty insurance expenses.
