2025 IS OFF TO A FAST START FOR YOUR DEPARTMENT

Happy New Year ! Another year is behind us , and 2025 is already off to a quick start . The Kansas Legislature convened for the first day of session on January 13th . As industry has continued to change and grow , so will the Department , focused on lowering costs , fighting fraud , and creating efficiencies .
But even as we look ahead to what promises to be a busy year , let ’ s look back at a few of the Department ’ s highlights from 2024 :
• More than $ 11.8 million recovered for Kansas consumers
• Lowered licensing fees by over a million dollars
• Over 2100 hours of free CE , including the new Know Your Regulator series
The Department ’ s licensing division continues to support the growth of licensed producers in Kansas . Here is a snapshot of the numbers from the licensing division for 2024 : the KDOI . The second session will be a presentation from the Compliance and Enforcement Division of KDOI about insurance fraud . Stay tuned for more free CE opportunities as the year goes on !

The KDOI and KAIA have partnered again to provide a series of continuing education ( CE ) presentations for agents and agencies . The first two of the 2025 Know Your Regulator CE presentations will be featured at the KAIA Annual Conference on February 3rd . The first presentation will be a broad overview of the Consumer Assistance Division of
