GROWTH THROUGH MARKET ACCESS
A 2019 Year-End Review
Agency Service Corporation of Kansas’s (“ASCK”) Market Access Program continues to help KAIA members grow their
agencies and better serve customers. In 2019, ASCK markets generated nearly $700,000 in commissions paid to
member agents. That is a 19% increase over commissions paid out in 2018. On a per-member basis, ASCK generates
about $2,275 per member in commission revenue. Keep in mind that this figure doesn’t include the commission
generated from members using the Big “I” Markets platform provided by IIABA. The data also shows that members - big
and small - benefit from using ASCK Market Access with at least two-thirds of members placing business.

While commissions paid directly to KAIA members help them improve their bottom line, the revenue generated from the
ASCK Market Access Program is also vital to funding KAIA operations - to the benefit of all members. With approximately
20% of agents in business for less than five years, this member benefit is vital to growing membership.
