Think of your association first when a need arises .

A s agents , there is always something to be assisting our clients with . Remarketing , coverage checklists , claims , a myriad of things . As agency principals , add on management duties , and there isn ’ t enough time in the day . Where do we go when we need assistance ? Our first option SHOULD be our association . As I mentioned in my last column , our association is to do together what we can ’ t do alone . KAIA has utilized the knowledge of our excellent agents to gather the tools we need to fix our problems .

One day last week , I spent 30 minutes reviewing our KAIA website . The plethora of information available is incredible , and I found many things I had no idea we offered . Whether you need marketing materials , management assistance , or market access , KAIA and AScK have it covered .
The first items I found on the KAIA website were some management templates . Confidentiality , non-disclosure , sample producer agreements , agency fee agreements , and much more . Many of these are items I ’ ve failed to look to the association for .
Next , I found a group of articles that could be very helpful with coverages and coverage descriptions . D & O laws , work comp , flood insurance , car rental coverage , the list is extensive . I can ’ t count how many times I ’ ve used the Bill Wilson article on car rental coverage to explain those needs to a client .
