President’ s Classic
Supporting Kansas Trusted Choice ® Junior Golf

L ooking for an excuse to go golfing? The annual President’ s Golf Classic tournament will be held Thursday, May 26, at the Crestview Country Club North in Wichita, Kansas. The President’ s Golf Classic, held in honor of Dusty Davis, KAIA board president, is a benefit tournament designed to raise funds to sponsor the Kansas Trusted Choice ® Junior Golf Qualifier.
The Kansas Trusted Choice ® Junior Golf Qualifier, held each summer, is the state’ s qualifying event for junior golfers who wish to compete for a spot in the Trusted Choice ® Big“ I” National Championship. The tournament is a fun way to promote the perpetuation of the independent insurance system and to support student athletes. Plus, the top three boys’ division golfers and top two girls’ division golfers earn a spot to play in the National Championship. In 2015, not only was Kansas honored with hosting the National Tournament at Prairie
Dunes, but additionally, a Kansas golfer took first place in the boys’ division.
For those who wish to support the tournament but are not avid golfers, an alternative outing has been planned. Spend the day networking with fellow agents while enjoying a wine tasting at Grace Hill Winery, a painting lesson at“ Relove all things Shabby,” and shopping in Bradley Fair.
Following the golf tournament and the Wichita day trip will be a catered dinner as well as both live and silent auctions. For information about auction items, please see the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents Facebook page. Registration will be available online through May 25.
