Kansas agents legislative day Agents show strength in numbers at Legislative Day ndependent agents and brokers showed their strength March 4 at the Capitol during Kansas Agents Legislative Day. The event, sponsored by KAIA, drew more than 85 independent agents and brokers to Topeka. I Participants visited the Capitol where they met with Governor Brownback, observed committee hearings and sat in on a session of the House. Afterward, the group was briefed by some of the state’s top insurance decision-makers on key issues affecting the industry and consumers. That evening, nearly 80 legislators and elected officials joined the agents at the KAIA office for a reception and steak dinner.
