The Colombian artist Máximo Flórez works of four columns of the series Vigas y Columnas (2016), which seem so basic at first notice, but become ever more complex with close observation are as interesting as a coded message from an alien mind. The work is enigmatic and requires study, but it is like music hanging on the air, or the soft note of a bird in the distance that you do not recognize. It leaves you wanting to

know more.

Austrian Alois Kronschlaeger , sculptures hang in space, defying gravity, and move in space by way of hidden mechanisms. Reflection of the forms reveals new colors which transform the shapes, as do the shadows of the wall pieces which are affected by the light about them as it is changed by the viewers’ movements.

I think that this is an over all successful exhibition that requires the viewer to spend contemplative time accessing. It is the type of work that could be looked at mindlessly for 15 minutes, or intellectually mined for information

for hours!
