ENERGISER The wind blows Materials needed: Chairs are placed in a circle. Activity The group members sit on the chairs, with the facilitator standing in the centre. When the facilitator says, "The wind blows for everyone wearing skirts," then all the members who are wearing skirts will stand up from their chairs and run to another empty chair. The facilitator also runs and sits on a chair; and the member who will be left standing without a chair will then continue the game stating with the phrase, "The wind blows for…" If the member in the middle cannot think of something to say, the instructor may whisper and suggest examples to her, e.g., all the mothers, all those who are right handed, all those wearing black shoes, etc. After about 5 minutes the facilitator may stop the game and let everyone rearrange the chairs and then continue with the session.
