Session 15
OBJECTIVES
The following objectives are set for Session 15:
At the end of the session the mother and child pair should
-
have interacted with each other in an informal manner;

have developed a stronger bond;

be aware of self and others; and

have communicated
PREPARATION
Prepare for picnic. If it is warm enough have a picnic under a tree, otherwise improvise by
having the picnic in the room with blankets on the floor or chairs in a circle.
MATERIALS
The following will be needed for this session:

Paper and pen to take the register and for notes on the session

Invoice book and money for travelling expenses

Blankets or chairs

Pre-baked muffins/cupcakes

Decorating ingredients - e.g. 'Smarties', 'Astros', vermicelli, hundreds-and-thousands

Smears, cheese, cold meat, etc., for sandwiches
