SESSION 7:
PROBLEM-SOLVING
'HOW CAN I DO IT?'
Session 7
OBJECTIVES
The following objectives are set for Session 7:
At the end of the session the children should be able to
-
identify problems (at school, at home);
understand that there are consequences (positive and negative) for the decisions we
make;
-
understand beginning steps to analysing problems: things you have control over and
things you cannot control;
-
understand that many problems have more than one solution;
-
Recognise (acceptance) that some problems do not have a good solution: you do the
best you can to help yourself and your family get through it; and
-
to recognise the value in sharing problems with others.
