ICE-BREAKER
The tennis ball game
Aim: The ice-breaker is needed to enhance (improve) sharing information about each other and building trust and cohesion
with others.
Material needed: Tennis ball
Preparation: None
Activity

The ice-breaker begins with the facilitator giving a child a tennis ball.
-
The facilitator gives the group the instructions on how the game will be played.
-
When you receive the tennis ball, you must describe one of your characteristics or likes or dislikes.
-
After describing one characteristic, pass the ball on to the person sitting next to you.
-
The game proceeds until every child in the group has had a chance to describe a characteristic of himself or herself.
