ACTIVITY 1 - THE FUTURE TRAIN
The future train
The facilitator asks the children to lie down on the floor and to close their eyes.
The facilitator tells them the following story - The future train:
I want you to pretend that we are all walking in the veldt and begin to play catchers with each other. We are running and laughing in
the veldt as we play together. While we are playing, we all see this big, red and yellow train in the middle of the veldt. It is so sparkly
and bright. It must be brand new or something because it is glittering in the sun. One of you decide to knock at the driver's side to
see who the train driver is, when all of a sudden a future train driver steps out of the train and says, "This is a future train. It can take
you into the future - to a time when you will be much ol FW"
