ing hunger because it is the
world’s greatest solvable prob-
lem, and to take this opportuni-
ty to establish stronger relation-
ships between the students and
learn the importance of support
and friendship during difficult
times.”

lose to 50 grade 10 students and teach-
ers underwent a 30-hour fast on 25
March, as they went about their regular
day at school. This was the culmination
of the grade 10 students’ service initia-
tive. For a few months, the students had
been raising awareness about global poverty and
hunger through presentations and other activities.
