Grade 10 student and dorm proctor
“I have been a dorm proctor for two years
now. It is both challenging and fulfilling.
Sometimes, I help the dorm parents with
duties such as room inspection. It is difficult
to be as strict as a parent or teacher in
carrying out these responsibilities. It’s part of
my role. But I love my role as a dorm proctor
when it comes to organizing activities and
events for my dormmates. The proctors pour
their hearts into planning events in the dorm,
and they are always successful. I have grown
a lot since I have been living on campus. My
confidence has grown. I have also learned
to manage my own daily life. Boarding has
become a very important part of my life, and
I am learning more and more everyday.”
