ASUMH TRUCK PARTY was a roaring success
The first-ever Truck Party was a roaring success , raising more than $ 17,000 for scholarships and other student needs at ASUMH . Held on March 9 at the Vada Sheid Community Development Center , more than 60 prizes were given to the crowd before the grand-prize-winning ball was drawn . Mr . and Mrs . David Bennett , donors of the 1977 Ford F150 truck that was given away as the grand prize , were guests of honor , joining a crowd of approximately 375 people . Next year ’ s fund-raising party for ASUMH is scheduled for March 8 , 2018 , so be watching to see if it will be a Car Party , a Truck Party , a Boat Party , or what ! We ’ re excited to see what our donors have in store for us .
