KeyLine: Who are some of
your musical influences?
Don P: Most of music is influenced
from the streets. It's from what I seen
and lived. I enjoyed listening to Tupac,
Rick James, Biggie, Easy E, and
Michael Jackson he was cool to watch
he was original.
KeyLine: At what
moment did you know
that you wanted to be in
the industry?
Don P: I've been loving
music as soon as I
could walk and talk. My
big mama used to say
"Don Don you a natural
performer and you're
gone be somebody one
day". R.I.P. Big Mama,
I miss her. I guess I
always felt like it was
my destiny to make
music. It's what I love to do.
KeyLine: How would describe your
musical style?
Don P: My style is “”Stoney. But really I
don't really have a particular style. I just
hear the music and I speak my mind. I
say what's really on my mind and in my
heart at the time.
KeyLine: What can fans expect from
next project entitled "The Smokin
Odyssey"?
Don P: Well if you a stoner like me it's
gonna all make sense soon as u turn it
on. I'm different and I make music for
the other side. The ones who never had
nothing but, want it all and aren't scared
to get out there and grind to make it
happen! You gone hear some fun stuff
and some features I did with my some
of my favorite artists like The Jacka
(R.I.P,) called "Moolah" and D'Wayne
Wiggins (Tone Tony Toni) we got a
slapper called "So Good". My folks Blegit, Spice 1 got down as well. I even
got some booty shaking music on there
with the homie from the HBK Gang.
