Past Events and our Experiences:
Citizenship Ceremony
“ During the citizenship ceremony at Casa Loma, key club members assisted organizers so that the ceremony could run smoothly. Not only was volunteering a way to demonstrate the helpfulness of Canadians, but it is also an event that induces pride. At the singing of O ' Canada, new and old Canadians all sang together with the same dignity and happiness. In that moving moment, I and I ' m sure others, felt proud to be blessed enough to live in the amazing country we do.

Delivering Harbord Flyers
Course Selection Night
“ Harbord is celebrating it’ s 125 th anniversary. At the end of April, Harbord is hosting an open house and a gala. To get the word out to the community. Key Clubbers were recruited to deliver flyers throughout the neighbourhood. Key clubbers seem to have a lot of fun going from door to door putting flyers in mail boxes.
- Ms. Sue, Faculty Adviser
“ My friend, Daniela, and I both volunteered for course selection night where we had to set up chairs and clear the presentation area in Harbord ' s library. Our duties included signing in parents, and handing out informations papers. Not only did we get some refreshments to keep us going through the night, but we got to learn more about the different programs offered at Harbord as well as meet some of our friend ' s parents!”
