ROSES
IT’ S THAT TIME OF THE YEAR!
Every year it is our Key Club’ s tradition to sell wooden roses in February to fundraise for a specific cause. This year we are fundraising for Sleeping Children Around the World, and all the money that we earn from this event will go to this Campaign. The roses would be sold a week prior to valentines day, and delivered on the day of. With the help of Ms. Sue, the executives, and the volunteers, this event was a huge success and we would like to thank everyone who helped out!
WHAT IS SCAW AGAIN?
SCAW stands for Sleeping Children Around the World. They are an international organization that provides bedkits to 34 countries. Each bedkit cost 35 dollars and within the bedkits there are mat / mattress, pillow, sheet, blanket, mosquito net, clothes, towel, and school supplies. All donations go 100 % directly to purchasing bedkits for these children, and no portion is used to pay for operating expenses.
