Sandwich Run
“ Harbord Key Club had the awesome opportunity to participate in a sandwich run hosted by U of T ' s Circle K Club. It was a really nice chance to talk to Circle K members and to learn from them. A sandwich run is a volunteering opportunity where volunteers make nutritious lunch bags and distribute it to the homeless. Although it was a cold and snowy night, the feeling of helping others was the energy that volunteers like me needed to successfully distribute all the nutritious lunch bags to the homeless.”- Adrian Lo

Red Noses
Casa Loma Xmas Party
“ Harbord Key Club was honoured to take part in the Casa Loma Xmas party hosted by CAMH. We met other key clubbers there, and I got to catch up with other key clubbers I met at Key leader. We got to serve food, dance, and have a fun night with people from CAMH, and the holiday spirit was really there.”

“ From December 19 th to the 23 rd Key Club sold red noses that lit up. Each red nose cost $ 3 each, and all of it goes towards providing TDSB students with food and warm clothes. I was one of the volunteers who sold these noses, and when my friend and I saw them light up so brightly we couldn ' t resist but to buy one and support the cause! It was very fun to see some students and teachers buying them and trying it on in front of us.”

Harbord Open House
“ So this was a volunteer event that I had my friends with me, and I was excited to spend time with them and volunteer. When the time came to lead the parents on the tours, we ended up meeting a lot of parents of our friends, and it was fun to connect with other parents, and students.

“ For the last Key Club meeting of the year, we had a party and played a bunch of fun ice breakers. We started off with Bingo!, where all the questions were about Key Club and SCAW. We then told each other about our favourite subjects and colours. We also played fun games such as When the West Wind Blows and Best Friend. I learned lots of fun facts about the members of Harbord’ s Key Club. At the end of the meeting, we got to eat yummy food-such as marshmallow snowmen, brownies and cookies- made by the execs. I had a lot of fun and this meeting was definitely a great way to end the year!
