Music Spring Concert The Spring Concert was a highlight of the year as every soloist, ensemble player, singer, and musician performed to an exceptionally high standard which involved numerous harmonised melodies. Every single performer on the night gave it their all with a smile on their face, and energy levels were high from start to finish. The “Contemporary Twist” of the The diverse programme was intentionally put together to include music from many countries of the world with ‘Rule Britannia’ as the finale. The most impressive part of the concert was the fact that each item in the programme was performed with enthusiasm and excellence. The confident choir voices at Kew College are something we world music theme wowed the audience and set a new standard for the school. The audience could be seen singing and clapping along to the modern favourites like “Let It Be” whilst also appreciating the more traditional sounds of composers such as Chopin. are proud of not only at the Spring Concert, but also in performances throughout the year. Our Windband and Strings ensembles perform at a high standard due to the time and effort they put into their practices. Well done to all of our budding young musicians. 63
