Year 6 Shakespeare Project After exams, Year 6 embraced Shakespeare through an in-depth study of the tragedy, ‘Macbeth.’ They undertook an analysis of the main characters and investigated the main themes and motifs, putting Lady Macbeth on trial for her part in the murder of King Duncan. As part of their project, the children wrote diary entries, spells, soliloquys and suicide letters and designed ‘Wanted’ posters and cartoon strips. Presenting their projects in their own way, they ensured that their work was of the highest standard. The examples below show some of the work completed by our Year 6 children. 35
