Year 5 Up and running Hooke Court The race was on—who could pull the log over to the other side? It was a hard challenge. James G The Tudor kitchen was a boisterous place as we all crammed inside. In Tudor times there were no chimneys and only a small window so the kitchen would have been full of smoke and quite dark. It must have been very hot when working near a crackling fire. India C In Tudor times, the children attended school six days a week from 6am until 5pm. Sophia B 32 We gathered around the campfire for scary stories and brilliant songs.
