Year 3
On Monday 9th May 2016, Year 3 visited PGL Marchant’s Hill. For
weeks we had been looking forward to this trip and it did not
disappoint. Our teachers prepared us really well and we knew
exactly what to expect. The night before, I checked my bag
against the checklist and could hardly contain my excitement.
It’s fair to say that raft building was the highlight. We built rafts
out of logs, barrels and ropes, and got to test our creations on the
lake. I am proud that our raft held together and our team
managed to stay afloat. Raft building taught me perseverance.
At PGL I leant to challenge my fears, to be brave and to believe in
myself and my team. It is an experience I will remember for years
to come.
