School Celebrations This Founder’s Day was the best Founder’s Day ever! I think every year it gets better and better. The school looked amazing with helium balloons and ribbons draped from the roof. The first thing we did was a competition to see who could make the tallest tower using just marshmallows and spaghetti. My group managed to build a free-standing tower but it got a bit sticky. My favourite part of the day was rock climbing. I took a big risk because it was very high and I felt like sitting out but I thought I should give it a go now that I am in Year 3. I am so glad I did because it was so much fun. I thought it would be scary to look down from the top but actually it was an amazing view and all my friends looked like tiny ants cheering from the ground. Eloise Year 3 I loved when we got to dress-up. I played sword fighting with Amy and Isla. We also pretended to ride flamingos. Next we went to see some exciting mini-beasts. We saw two Dragon Lizards called Buster and Pancake and got to stroke them. We also got to hold Barney and Ollie the snakes. Maya Year 2 I liked it when I had two hats on at the same time and I was on the stilts of doom. Joshua Year 1 95
