School Celebrations Book Day The illustrator I loved the illustrator because I want to be one when I grow up. Fifi KGG The best bit was the illustrator when she read the book 'A Monster's Moved In' and we held the pompoms and made a buzzing noise. Theo KGG My favourite activity was making monsters with the illustrator, Loretta Shauer. I loved this because I like art. I used feathers and long strips of paper and shapes to make a 3D monster. I drew his face using crayons. I was pleased with the result. Laurie Year 2 As I walked through the door I met a Hungry Caterpillar, a Muddy Scarecrow and a Strawberry with arms and legs and I soon realised it was Book Day. As the day went on it just got better and better. My favourite activity was meeting Loretta Shauer the illustrator of ‘A Monster Moved In’ and lots of other stories. It was a fun activity because we got to make our very own monsters which was fantastic. I loved the book so much that I had to buy it. I also got it signed by Loretta Shauer who drew a picture of a dinosaur. Barney Year 2 My favourite part was the Big Read because I could read all the facts out of my Children's Encyclopedia from home. Arav Year 1 92
