Sport Sports Day To round off an excellent year in sport, we held our Annual Sports Day at the University of Westminster Playing Fields. Despite the blustery day, the children put their whole-hearted energies into every race, with children in the Junior House running for their Houses. The day started with a huge adrenalin rush in the House Tug of War, which raised the roof with the volume of cheers and good light-hearted humour. This was followed by a series of races including the traditional Egg and Spoon, exciting Sack Race, hilarious Space Hopper Race and sensational Wild West Obstacle Race leading up to the most enthralling of all events - 'The House Relay Race'. There were many close and nail biting finishes but EAGLE dominated the day and walked away with the Sports Day Cup. Meanwhile OSPREY won the coveted House Relay Race. The new addition of the Wellie Boot Throwing Competition added to the fun of the day. 86
