Drama Year 4 The Keykeeper Year 4 took the audience on a journey through time with superb performances showcasing different aspects of history. It began with The Battle of Hastings, where the soldiers gave a football style rendition of the clash between the Normans and Saxons. The Tudor times included a humorous song about Tudor medicine before time travelling to witness Guy Fawkes’ failed attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament. The Industrial revolution showcased the importance of machines at the expense of employment and the Victorian Workhouse depicted how cruelly children were treated and how hard they had to work. Suffragettes sang with passion and flair for their right to vote before a WWII evacuee revealed how he had witnessed the London bombings. The children sang, danced and acted with aplomb. What a delight they were to watch. Well done, Year 4! 77
