ICT & Computing Kindergarten Kindergarten have been learning how to control the mouse. By using typing software to learn how to type, the pupils have become familiar with the keyboard layout. Problem solving encourages logical thinking as well as control. Year 2 Year 1 From Online Safety to programming, Year 1 enjoyed a broad range of computer activities. They learnt how to program sequences of commands and developed their word processing skills. Year 3 Our e-Encyclopaedia Millypedia provides a wealth of knowledge for our Year 2 pupils. Finding meaningful information is key to meeting the objectives. In programming, Year 2 utilised the new Lego Bits and Bricks Hour of Code video, which they all enjoyed. 62 Simulators are key to relating game design to technology in the world. Year 3 used Purple Mash to develop a range of games which utilise creativity and logical reasoning. Earlier in the year, the children completed coding puzzles on 2 Code.
