Year 6 Kew College – Class of 2017 Goodbye I have been at Kew College for 8 years and have learnt so much. I have changed from a shy little girl in Nursery to a confident young lady in Year 6. I feel safe and comfortable at Kew College and it’s like a second home to me. One of my fondest memories is jumping into the freezing cold lake in France with some of my friends. Kew College has taught me resilience, courage and independence and has prepared me well for my next school, LEH. Siobhan T 6T I will miss Kew College and all the wonderful friends that I have made over the five years I have been here. Everyday has given me another memory that I will cherish forever. Starting a new school will be great, but I will always think of Kew College and what it has done for me. I am heading off to Notting Hill and Ealing High School , which was my first choice, and I would like to thank Kew College for helping me achieve my goal. At my time at Kew College I have changed, I have become more determined and have enjoyed every single moment. I will never forget the supportive teachers, smiling faces, and a positive feeling wherever I went. Goodbye Kew College, I will miss you! Sasha B 6G There was not a dull moment during my time at Kew College. At games I played a wide range of sport depending on the season. I still have fond memories of playing with toys in Nursery and taking part in our first School Play as a busy bee. Soon I was a conscientious pupil progressing well and benefiting from helpful teachers who are always willing to go the extra mile for us. Upon entering the Junior House, I joined Mercury House and loved contributing to the team spirit. Residential school trips were the highlights of my last school years. Not only did we enjoy adventurous activities at Bowles, Hooke Court, Bushcraft and in France, we also shared many cherished moments with our friends. Year 6 was an exhilarating year which helped me grow in confidence. I consider myself lucky to have been part of Kew College, before going on to Hampton School. Farewell Kew College. William G 6G I used to be a quiet and shy little girl who wore round glasses and had pigtails. Over six lovely years, Kew College has unlocked my po- tential and has helped me become a confident, sport-loving, musical person who has many trusting and amazing friends. Kew is my sec- ond home and I am devastated to leave. So many memories will stay with me forever. All the trips, plays, friends, teachers and the friend- ly atmosphere which I will never forget. When I join St Paul’s Girls School in September I will remember all the good times and also the hard work and preparation I was encouraged to put into my studies. It would not have happened without Kew College’s help and encour- agement. Respect, stability, kindness, intelligence and teamwork are all things I have inherited from my incredible and memorable time at Kew. 36 Lara B 6T
