Led by Jazz musicians Mr Hayes and Ms
Saunders, the Kool Tunes Choir is open to all
Year 5 and Year 6 children. We explore singing
techniques at a more advanced level through a
fun, contemporary repertoire that includes
harmony and solo singing. This year the choir
Kodu and Raspberry Pi
This double topic club is unique in giving the
pupils experience of both programming and hard
ware configuration. Kodu teaches creativity and
programming using Microsoft’s latest 3D
Lego allows our pupi ls to play and
invent new models to express their
creativity. A vast supply of bricks and
mini figures serves our ever growing
Little Golfers
and driving the ball, and there is an opportunity to
compete on a golf course against other schools each
term. The much loved Bruce the Shark comes to visit.
Lego community. Each week a different
theme is used for the children to build
around. Of course free building is
allowed too! A big thankyou to all the
parents and to the LEGO Company who
have donated to the Lego club.
In the modern music world, Technology plays a
fundamental part in composing and performing.
The M:Tech project is a new and exciting way of
creating music through computers and software.
Featuring ‘Cubase’ as a composition tool, all
M:tech children are given the brief of composing
Mini Movers
Mini Movers is a Year 1 Dance Club which is new to Kew College
this year. It takes place on a Monday and gives the children a
chance to express themselves through music, develop their
M:Tech
music for a film clip, advert, or similar theme. This
club allows for the creativity of music technology,
whilst also embedding team work and listening
skills.

world top 50 coaches list in 2016-17. Sessions are
safe, active and fun, using equipment designed for
the school environment and playing team game
