Year 6 Holly Lodge During the Spring Term, Year 6 visited Holly Lodge in Richmond Park to learn about how to be a good citizen. This included learning about how to travel around the capital safely, and how to get help if needed. The children learnt how to plan a safe route, give first aid and how to stay safe online. “I learnt how to be safe on public transport .“ Sanaya R All of these skills are useful as Year 6 move onto their secondary schools and begin to become more independent citizens. Cycling Proficiency Year 6 completed a week long cycle training in the Summer term. They were taught how to ride on the road safely and how to spot hazards they may come across when cycling in the borough. The were tested on a variety of aspects while out and about on their bikes, and every child passed with flying colours. “I enjoyed learning how to be safe on the roads in Richmond.” William W 43
