Year 2 Gaining independence Christmas Nativity - Baboushka Year 2 delighted their families and friends with superb performances of the Christmas story, Baboushka. The tale centred on an old lady who was less than pleased by the numerous visitors arriving at the door of her Bed and Breakfast. There were American tourists, a popstar and pizza delivery men—would she ever get any peace? Eventually Baboushka realised the error of her ways and discovered what all the fuss was about—the birth of a very special baby boy! The children sang beautifully and played their parts to perfection, much the amusement of their captive audiences! Our Nativity was called Baboushka. It was about a stubborn old lady who was learning to be nice. My part was a wise man. I wore a gold tunic with a green cloak. Zac M My favourite bit was when I got to go to the front and sing the Children’s Carol because I got to do a solo with the girls. Abby 18
