To the delight of the Infants , they too had their own climbing ac vity in the form of the bouldering wall , allowing them to challenge themselves and step out of their comfort zones . In addi on , there was a hands-on experience with a variety of minibeasts , and the children had the opportunity to interact with the animals and hold s ck insects , lizards and snakes .
Birds were also a prominent theme this Founder ’ s Day , with the Infants enjoying a Birds of Prey workshop where they became entranced learning about the features of different species of bird . The children also decorated bird masks , and produced works beau fully full of colour , sequins and feathers . To complete the theme , Mrs Morey created a fabulous Owl cake , earning many mouthwatering looks from children and staff alike ! Other culinary delights brought in by parents provided the children with delicious treats to top off this spectacular day .
