Founder ’ s Day
Founder ’ s Day was once again a huge success . As the day began , children bounded through the doors , eager to see what the school had in store . A round of ‘ Happy Birthday ’ to Kew College was played beau fully by the Wind Band to kick off the day as the children looked around in awe at the ac vi es on display . Almost immediately , children were scaling the rock climbing wall to glimpse the school from a birds-eye view and look down on the scenes below , whilst others hurried off to embark on different endeavours .
Music filled the air as the Junior House children were treated to a Samba Drumming workshop , combining a variety of percussion instruments and rhythms to create some truly fantas c composi ons . The Smoothie Bikes were a welcome addi on to Founder ’ s Day ac vi es , and the children pedaled with boundless energy to blend their own drinks whilst others competed on an inflatable football pitch as life-sized versions of table football players !
