THE SUMMER FAIR What a superb Summer Fair at which the theme set the scene for a hugely enjoyable event . Including sur oarding at the front of the school , Punch and Judy in the Octagon , Candyfloss galore , a Coconut Shy and so many more of the wonderful ac vi es you would normally encounter at the beach , the atmosphere was relaxed and fun ! Lisa Fawdry , together with KCF and their many helpers have excelled yet again and we are truly grateful for all that they do . It is hard to imagine how much is involved when you see such a successful event operate so smoothly . Suffice to say that it has taken months of prepara on and many , many hours of hard slog and gra - we salute them all for their generosity of me and spirit in making this happen for the benefit of the whole school community , and the school charity REACT .
REACT Thanks to the rigorous and successful campaigning of Ella , Anna and Sanaya , REACT was elected as the school charity for the year . The fantas c efforts of these girls , all the pupils , KCF and our parents has resulted in a fabulous dona on of £ 10,140 to the charity . It is such a worthy cause , helping to improve the quality of life for children with poten ally terminal illnesses . Well done to all !
THE SCHOOL LIBRARY The school Library is now fully open and being enjoyed by all pupils across the school . It is a haven of tranquillity and a place in which the children can relax and bury their heads in a book or carry out research , thanks to the generosity of KCF and the parents at the school who funded the library and its trolley of 20 iPads . We are all incredibly grateful for this wonderful legacy that will pass down through many pupils at the school over the years .
