In the Summer term Stanzi ( Yr 6 ), felt compelled to write to Walkers Crisps about the issue of plas c pollu on across the UK and the need for Walkers Crisps manufacturers to be more account able for their environmental impact . She delivered a fantas c assembly to the Junior house outlining her concerns and what she intended to do about it . We also met with local MP Zack Goldsmith and the children had an opportunity to discuss how the government is ge ng involved with legisla on regarding single use plas cs . As a result , the Year 6 children wrote le ers to a range of different people and companies to persuade them to also change their ways . It appears we have some excellent campaigners in our midst !
