Year 6

The very first me I stepped through the gates of Kew College , I felt a sense of kindness and friendship in the air . I had so many mixed emo ons including fear and excitement . Would the teachers be nice ? Would everyone be friendly ? Almost as soon as I stepped into the classroom those thoughts were put to rest . Smiles spread across every person ’ s face in the classroom . I have been lucky enough to have been treated to such a kind and friendly group of teachers and friends . A memorable moment would be the residen al trip to the outer wilderness of Bushcra . The cold shivering faces of my classmates as they jumped into the arc c-like water . Their disgusted faces as they watched each other eat a fish ’ s eyeball . These are all moments that I will treasure . With the help of my fantas c group of classmates and teachers , I have felt well-guided to ge ng into the illustrious Hampton school . Goodbye , Kew College . Ben C 6T
As I entered the colossal , azure doors of KC for the first me , I could not have imagined that I would leave here 8 years later , as I am now . Arriving scared , an only child and barely able to speak , I have come so far and now am so much more confident , knowledgeable and have two loving brothers . Memories that will stay with me forever include the momentous mud assault course in France , the towering climbing wall on Founders day which we ascend every year without fail and of course , the play . Our teachers have been inspira onal and imagina ve in lessons and without them , I would not have been able to achieve in my exams or achieve half the things I have in my life me so far . The friends that I have made are friends for life ; So for now I say not “ Farewell !” but “ See you soon !” I take with me a plethora of memories and experiences that I will cherish forever . I have especially oved the sport at Kew College ; the swimming , hockey , netball , rounders , cricket , and athle cs . I joined every sports club and I was in the A team for every sport . At the end of Year 5 , I became Netball Captain . I adore the outdoors which is why I loved Bushcra so much . Art has also been amazing and cake sales have always been something to look forward to at the end of the week . The last residen al in France was especially memorable due to the wake up calls , mud assault course and canoeing . I cannot believe it has been eight whole years from Nursery all the way to Year 6 . This great experience and has gone so quickly . I thank Kew College for helping me to get into No ng Hill and Ealing High School and for my many friends and memories . Thank you and goodbye Kew College ! Amelia C 6S
It may be true that I joined a bit later than usual in Year 3 but the amount of cherished memories is enough to astound anyone . You would expect to have had a frightening first day and indeed , this was what I had expected . However , this nervous feeling dwindled drama cally as the day progressed due to the warm welcome . In my whole me at Kew College , my favourite moments were found at Bushcra . From pond diving to fish gu ng , I had an undeniably great me . All the lessons were enlightening and interac ve with Maths being my favourite . It is a real shame I have to leave Kew College to go to Kings Wimbledon , as I have built such a bond with the school . I hope my brother loves Kew College as much as I do . Alex G 6S
