It is an absolute pleasure to write the foreword for the school magazine again this year ; it is a wonderful celebra on of the pupils ’ year at school and their achievements . Looking through it , I con nue to be amazed and impressed by how much has happened , and how much our children have achieved in the space of three short terms . The school has enjoyed yet another truly successful year , not only in the excellent 11 + results but in the outcomes for all pupils across the curriculum and in their personal development . It is heart-warming to watch their confidence grow as they stand in front of their class , in assembly or take to the stage for their concerts and plays with poise and convic on .
The true essence of Kew College lies in the kindness , respect and generosity of spirit that our pupils show for each other . They have lovely , relaxed rela onships with our staff , yet know the boundaries . Our staff work as an excellent team to provide the very best educa onal experience for our children , ensuring that they are happy and free to learn and that they feel fulfilled . They encourage pupils to be ambi ous and ‘ have a go ’; to challenge themselves in all walks of life and to encourage and support each other . Like the pupils , they are an impressive group , teaching and admin staff alike , and we are very blessed to have them at our school .
Our governors are a source of inspira on and support and make decisions that shape the future of our school . They are to be commended and thanked for the immense amount of me and effort that they put into life at Kew College .
KCF con nue to provide the school community with numerous opportuni es to socialise , whilst raising money for the school and its charity , which this year was REACT . They are an admirable force for the school and we are very grateful for their support and that of all our parents .
